Ellis Kerkhoven is a Creative Director, Stage Director, Dramaturg, Adaptor and Writer with a wealth of international experience in theatre and live performance, specializing in cross-cultural collaboration — co-creating and adapting Western productions for Eastern markets, and bringing international work to the UK.

International credits include numerous productions for Singapore Repertory Theatre, Disney (Saudi Arabia), and GEM (Egypt) — taking Western productions East — alongside bringing Stranger Sings (USA) to UK audiences.

Ellis brings strong interpersonal and cross-departmental collaboration skills, a commitment to preserving artistic and cultural identity while making work accessible to new markets, and expertise spanning dramaturgy, script and lyric writing, stage direction, and creative direction.
